About Skinpen Micro Needling
Collagen induction therapy also known as micro needling is a way to address these signs of ageing.
SkinPen is the first microneedling device cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars.

How it works
The key to more radiant skin is collagen production. Micro-needling works by using tiny needles to create small perforations, or ‘micro-channels’ in the skin. This stimulates the healing response of the deeper layers and encourages your skin to make new, collagen-rich tissue.
The micro-channels created during the treatment allow active ingredients from your skincare products to penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin to deliver even more powerful results. Our micro-needling device, available at select clinics, works at such a high speed you do not need anaesthetic cream before treatment.
With as few as three treatments spaced 30 days apart, you can improve your appearance for six months after your last treatment – and step out with confidence.

What can I expect?

A comfortable procedure. Based on your needs, your physician will likely apply a topical numbing agent to the treatment area.
- A short procedure time. The treatment will likely take about 30 minutes.
- A mild sensation. Most patients report feeling only the slight vibration of SkinPen during the procedure.

Minimal post-procedure effects. The skin will appear slightly pink to red immediately post-procedure, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn. Additionally, the most common treatment responses experienced were dryness, rough skin, tightness, redness, itching, peeling, discomfort, tenderness, and burning.
