About Dr Fanny Ballieux
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr Fanny Ballieux is a fully qualified Plastic Surgeon with the Royal Belgian College of Surgeons (RBSS) and a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic Surgery (RBSPS). She has also obtained the title of Fellows of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
To become a member of RBSPS you need to have undertaken a minimum of 13 years medical and surgical education, including at least 6 years of specialist.

Dr Fanny Ballieux
Education and training
First of all, Dr Ballieux graduated with great distinction with a Physician degree from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), Faculty of Medicine in Brussels and completed a master’s degree in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery (2017).
Moreover, her education has been extensive commencing in Belgium, where she practiced for four years at “Les Cliniques Universitaire Saint-Luc” under the supervision of Prof. Benoit Lengelé. Following this, she spent one year in Luxembourg (CHL) and one year in Westmead at the Children’s Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
Dr Ballieux developed an interest in vascular malformations, training under the guidance of Prof. L.M.Boon (Cliniques Saint-Luc). Subsequently, she published several scientific publications and spoke at international conferences on these topics.
After completing her master’s degree in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery (2017), Dr Ballieux extended her expertise in aesthetic facial surgery at “la Clinique des Champs Élysées” in Paris. Where she was exposed to different facelift and facial rejuvenation techniques.
She also trained in microsurgery in the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore.
She recently completed a fellowship in aesthetic surgery in Australia, where she worked at the “Breast Academy”. This fellowship allowed her to specialize in areas of interest such as breast surgery, facial surgery, rhinoplasty surgery and body contouring surgery.
Dr Ballieux furthered her cosmetic medical expertise on the Gold Coast, Australia, where she worked at the Breast Academy.
